Our Student Associations
We have written to all Welsh Societies in the Russell Group Universities to ask for their support in our campaign. Below you can find some of our supporters. If you want to become one, get in touch!
The society was established in 1886, making it the oldest society in Oxford after the Union.
Cymdeithas Dafydd ap Gwilym (Oxford University’s Welsh society)
The University of Oxford’s notable Welsh-language society were one of our first supporters. Caplan Osian Prys Elis said: “I would like to convey the society’s formal support to the Darogan. A mechanism and network to reverse the brain drain is key in creating a bold, modern and robust Wales.”
The society describer itself as “a home away from home for all Warwick students who are Welsh, or just want to be!”

Warwick University’s Welsh society are vocal supporters of our work, with the President of the group, Brychan Williams, saying our initiative is a “great” idea.
Bristol university welsh society
One of our most recent supporters. The President of the group, Jona Owen, said: “We believe that the Darogan Network is an effective way of attracting Welsh students from Russell group universities back to Wales.”
